Thai Airways was recently awarded the ICT Best Practice Awards 2014 in recognition for its information technology services that supports the company’s full services.

For the record, ICT, Information and Communications Technologies, is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing.
In other words, ICT) is basically society’s efforts to teach its current and emerging citizens valuable knowledge and skills around computing and communications devices, software that operates them, applications that run on them and systems that are built with them.
